Scotland is filled with mystery and magic, never more so if visiting as a child. When you visit as a youngster you will find a country filled not only with stories of fairies, selkies and mosters, but historic castles to roam and imagine living as a princess or prince. As well as so many places to play may that be city attractions or rural walks or costal retreats.
Below I have included a few blogs from our trips around Scotland with our young family.
I have also started listing local small and big playgrounds, currently most around Edinburgh and the Lothians. Check them out here and I’d welcome your suggestions of good playgrounds and activities to be added
For more inspiration there i recommend you check out Visit Scotland’s family page with various ideas and suggestions for the whole family.
